I think people should have relaxed their expectations a bit. (You'd think they'd learn by now) CDPR did the best thing they could have done with that update - take care of the foundational elements and the parts most difficult for modders to handle, then give them space to handle the rest. Companies like Bethesda use the modders as a crutch, you could see this as much the same but in this instance I think it's a wonderfully collaborative mindset to have which benefits everyone involved. I would rather CDPR churn out updates that include the skeletons of discarded ideas with the intent of letting the modders finish it up and flesh it out, than not bother with it at all so the modders have a more difficult time and the end result is less polished and seamless. CDPR doesn't necessarily have a profit incentive to keep releasing content for cyberpunk post-Phantom Lib. If this kind of release means they will devote SOME time and manpower to putting down foundations on which we can build rather than NONE at all since it'd cost more resources to do properly than they can justify, then yes PLEASE keep taking care of mechanical aspects and animation work. I would even appreciate content like animation "packs" that literally just contain a wide array of misc. animations to be used in modding. That kinda stuff. More modding support. Everyone wants a bigger fish when what we really need is to learn how to fish for ourselves.

Oh hey! I just started looking into Unreal 5 for my own little personal projects, and I find it to be wildly accessible. I do have coding experience, so that may help, but I don't think it's necessary at all. So if the rest of CyberPunk and Witcher games are being done in that engine (I don't remember if that rumor was true) then the modding experience you get here could help with the future immensely! I'm still new to it, but it doesn't seem too bad. Models/meshes/animations are my biggest hurdle so far. Tons of tutorials out there though. This is exciting to hear, can't wait to see what ya do. Wait, how are you doing this? What normally happens is the moment you approach the bridge the bomb goes off and you die, even if you have god mode on. I thoroughly explored pre-war Sanctuary when it first came out. If you can now cross the bridge then they've removed that trigger for some reason, unless you have a console command that disables it?

You should totally add Easter egg npcs like maybe that off the job Reed club bouncer npc you can meet before phantom liberty, or maybe download one of songbird to Lucy reskins and put her in there. Mr blue eyes would be cool too.

The hole in the ground is Thickett Excavations, the deep quarry east of Sanctuary, which has at least one quest first time you visit and later becomes a Raider outpost.

I think one of those large buildings is Mass Fusion.

That area was part of Beaverville, the Corporate District of Night City in the Time of the Red. They could have built it, but there wouldn't have been much of a purpose beyond having empty area to run around in. It would have looked almost the same as Rancho Coronado, mid-level overcrowded suburbs. The beaverville area could have been interesting for some missions, but I see why they just didn't get around to it. The city center area and Oak Hills are where all the action is happening in 2077.

One thing I wonder is if there's an actual room somewhere in the game where Mr. Hands is.

Please don’t ever stop doing 2077 videos. There’s literally so many ideas and things to explore. That’s not even taking into account all of the little side stories, in-universe lore, shards, text messages and environmental story telling. You could genuinely make this whole channel dedicated to mostly cyberpunk and it wouldn’t get boring at all.

I’ve always just wanted a game like this. Would be nice to roam around this world before everything was destroyed. Interact with people and have quests that can be simple stuff. Help your neighbor Jerry fix his sink. Buy a birthday gift for your daughter. Idk. Just really wanna spend more time in that world. I remember Fallout 3 had a cool mission that took place in pre-war times that was awesome.

That AV looks exactly like the one the Peralez's use in that questline, but it should also be noted that V enters an Arasaka AV in their Corpo lifepath, and also enters Hanako's AV in the Devil ending. The AVs are all detailed differently, but function the same.

I suppose CDPR was planning to add AV as usable transport but that was cut out like many other things.

The AV is probably from the quest, when you leave the braindance that uses City Hall Perlazes leave in an AV so the game probably stores it close for smoother experience

I once got a cyberpsycho icon in that building near the top of the building with the name "Johnny." I don't have cheats installed, so I can't check it out.

There is a marked NUSA rayfield excalibur version too which is cool, you can spawn it using mods.

When the Arasaka Tower video is coming bro ?

It amazes me that they did one expansion and felt they had to move on. After PL, they could have chosen to do 5 more expansions and the fan base would have ate it up and paid whatever price they put. The devs could have added in ALL the cut content. No need to jump to a new game right away IMHO.

When I first played CB2077 at release, I was struck by how big the map was but how empty most places were. All these years later, I realize it was cut content. Such a shame

Fun fact: According to lore, water travel in the open seas is incredibly difficult because of mines and such leftover from the corporate wars!

Pretty sure the AV at City Hall is the one the Peralezes use after you examine the braindance in the I Fought The Law quest. If this is true, it’s pretty cool that it actually stops somewhere and doesn’t just spawn out of the game randomly in mid-air.

I think the blocked npc door is where the holt/rhyne and security go in and out of the braindance
